Ed Hawkins is the Director of Technical Development and CEO of Wizard Football Club. Ed brings 20 years of coaching experience and over 10,000 hours of individual technical training experience with youth players ranging from 7 to 18 years old to the program. Ed also trains college players in the off-season ranging from freshman to seniors. Ed has trained several youth national team players, ODP regional players and college players.

Among his credentials as a player, Ed was an All-America selection, a professional draft pick, a US Youth National Pool player and a US Men's National Team player. Ed played his youth soccer in New York for Tony Martelli, a legend in the Northeast and played Division 1 for soccer powerhouse Hartwick College coached by Jim Lennox; USSF Staff Coach Emeritus. Ed was named to the Hartwick College Hall of Fame and one of the top 50 athletes from Hudson Valley, New York.

Ed's training approach focuses on developing the individual technical capability of every player including dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting, heading and defending. His team coaching philosophy is centered on teaching players the tactical aspects of the game ranging from 1v1 to 6v6 to 11v11. Ed's teams demonstrate a brand of soccer characterized by technical finesse, tactical maturity, and teamwork.
