About Us

Wizard Football Club is a premier youth travel soccer program based out of Westmont, Illinois. Wizard FC has teams for players ranging in age from 7 to 13 years old. Our highest priority is high quality training programs centered on technical skills development. The annual training curriculums are a collaborative effort designed and lead by Ed Hawkins, Director of Technical Development and CEO of the Wizard FC with assistance from John Roberts, Director of Coaching and Wizard FC's COO.

Our teams play in the local Illinois travel leagues. The boys and coed teams play in the Northern Illinois Soccer League (NISL) and the girls play in the Illinois Women's Soccer League (IWSL). These leagues have various competitive levels and that ensure proper placement of our teams with others of common experience levels. Our teams play in area or regional tournaments at the highest level practical.

The teams all receive professional training consisting of two or three sessions per week depending upon age and experience level. A typical week of a competitive team will include one skills session, one tactical session and one academy session made up of small-sided skill games. All sessions are 90 minutes.

Wizard Football Club subscribes to a core philosophy of good sportsmanship and positive coaching so all of the players in our program get top flight training in a disciplined, yet caring environment. We're quite proud of our coaching staff and believe it is second to none as it includes former US National team members, those with international playing experience in Brazil and former collegiate players from high profile Division I programs like Notre Dame and various schools in the Big Ten. Additionally, all of the Wizard FC's coaches hold national coaching licenses from the United States Soccer Federation.

Wizard FC is supported by area professionals providing the best in infrastructure, administration, customer service and team management to complement the top class soccer instruction.
